We place ourselves on the frontier of green chemistry, advancing sustainable approaches to the production and extraction of plant-derived compounds from natural sources. Our work integrates bioreactor-based systems for the controlled synthesis of plant metabolites, leveraging environmentally conscious solvent technologies, including natural deep eutectic solvents, to improve selectivity, efficiency, and scalability. Research efforts focus on bioprocess optimization, extraction methodology, solvent development. The aim of these efforts is to develop consistent, high-quality compound production strategies through responsible and innovative technologies for industrial and commercial applications.
